How does it work?

The power of subtractive psychology lies in its simplicity: The field is grounded in the discovery (by the philosopher Sydney Banks) that there are principles that govern human psychology, just as there are fundamental principles that govern the natural world. As an individual develops an embodied understanding of the principles behind clarity, they start to ‘see through’ con- ditioned psychological habits such as stress, worry and anxiety.
